Brazil Stars Coming to Mass.
Kaka, Ronaldinho on board for tilt with Mexico
August 23, 2007
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Brazilian and international superstars Kaka and Ronaldinho will be here for Brazil's tilt with Mexico at Foxborough's Gillette Stadium this September.

Brazil head coach Dunga announced his roster for the Sept. 12 match versus Mexico and both Ronaldinho and Kaka are on it. The five-time World Champions will bring a full roster featuring the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year and Barcelona midfielder Ronaldinho and A.C. Milan midfielder Kaká, who led his club to the recent 2007 UEFA Champions League title.

Mexico head coach Hugo Sanchez is expected to announce his roster the week of September 3.

The encounter between the two squads will mark the 34th meeting between Mexico and Brazil. The last time that the Mexican National Team played in Foxborough was back in 1997, when they faced the United States National Team in a 2-2 tie in a World Cup qualifier. This game mark's Brazil's first-ever appearance in Foxborough, and just its second-even game in New England. On June 6, 1993, Brazil defeated the United States, 2-0, in New Haven, Conn.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling 1-877-GET-REVS, Ticketmaster (617-931-2222) or visiting the Gillette Stadium Box Office.
