Duxbury Player Returns from Germany

Duxbury, Mass. native Daniel Sangster recently from his stint on the 2007 Super Y-League ODP 1992 National Select Team roster for their summer 2007 tour of southern Germany.

While in Germany for 2 weeks, the team posted a 5-2 record against top Bavarian club teams and the Bavarian Football Association's regional select teams. The team traveled to Regensburg, Munich and Oberammergau, Germany. As guests of the state association of Bavaria, Germany, the team attended the SportsSchule Oberhaching Elite Training Center. The players trained alongside and against future Bundesliga professional players from clubs such as FC Bayern Munich, FC Nuremburg, SSV Jahn Regensburg and 1860 Munich.

Sangster plays locally for Blackwatch Rhode Island, Crusaders United S.C. (Plymouth) and Duxbury High School.
