Mass. Girls' Team in Championships
Mass. United Stars traveling to Texas

The Massachusetts United Football Club Stars (Acton, Mass.) will travel to Frisco, Texas this week to compete for the US Youth Soccer National Championship.

The U-14 girls' club won the Massachusetts State Cup and the Region 1 championship to earn the right to play at Pizza Hit Park, home of the Houston Dynamo.

The Region 1 champs will play Region 3 winners Dallas Sting Royal Wednesday, with the title match scheduled for Saturday. The Stars actually played Dallas before, tying the Sting, 3-3, in a tournament this April.
