Mariner Soccer Club Holding Premier Team Tryouts

The Mariner Soccer Club's Premier Team program will be holding tryouts for the 2007/2008 season during the month of June. The Mariner Premier Team program offers the highest level of competitive and developmental opportunities to talented youth soccer players from throughout the South Coast region. Mariner premier teams compete in the Massachusetts Premier League (MAPLE), the top competitive youth soccer league in the state. Teams train twice per week, with games played on Sundays. Tryouts will be held from 5:30-7:00pm for the following age groups:

• U12 Girls (Birth date 8/1/95 – 7/31/97); tryout date: Tuesday, 6/19/07 • U13 Girls (Birth date 8/1/94 – 7/31/95); tryout date: Monday, 6/25/07 • U14 Girls (Birth date 8/1/93 – 7/31/94); tryout date: Monday, 6/25/07 • U14 Boys (Birth date 8/1/93 – 7/31/95); tryout dates: Wednesday, 6/20/07

Anyone who is interested in trying out but is unable to make the scheduled tryout date should contact Ray Cabral, Mariner Technical Director, at 508-728-1377.

All tryouts, practices and home games are held at the Mariner Youth Soccer complex behind Lifestyles Plaza on Rte. 6 in Fairhaven. For more information, visit www.marinersoccer.org. The Mariner Youth Soccer Club is also accepting applications from licensed experienced soccer coaches to lead youth soccer teams in the Mariner soccer program. Interested coaches should submit their coaching resume and cover letter to Coach Raymond Cabral, Mariner Technical Director, at rcabral@umassd.edu.
