Revs pair in Japan with U-23s
February 19, 2007
The Revolution duo of Ryan Solle and Adam Christman are in Japan this week as part of the USA's Under-23 team eighteen-man tour party. Bob Bradley's side will play two games during the week-long trip as part of the side's continued preparation for the 2008 Olympics.
Last week, the U-23s took on Chivas USA in a scrimmage at the Home Depot Center. Goals from Christman and Patrick Ianni gave Bradley's youngsters a 2-0 win. Cristman opened the scoring in the thirtieth minute when he picked off a back pass and sprinted past Claudio Suarez before beating goalkeeper Brad Guzan with a curling strike to the upper left corner. With ten minutes remaining, Ianni scored with a volley off the underside of the crossbar.
